Sunset from a restaurant near the mission office

Sunset from our balcony

One of our alfalfa sprout salads!

Our garden: lettuce, kale, cilantro, spinach, beans, peas, peppers, basil,
tomatoes, cantelope, and zuchinni. We will keep you posted on the progress!

This is the only resort we have heard of and it was off the road on the way to Marshall, so we decided to check it out. It was 2 kilometers down a pretty poor dirt road.

Well, we have decided we need to have a retreat sometime for some R & R!! So pleasantly surprised to fine a place like this in Liberia. It is only open on weekends, unless an organization requests its use.

At the beach near Marshall. The Wollenziens had a Latrine built for the community so we got to go for the handover ceremony. They had asked the church for the latrine. The request then goes through a process to get approved through the church humanitarian department. Marshall is an isolated area around 1 hour drive out of Monrovia. There is not an LDS church anywhere in the area, but there may be a group formed soon around 13 miles from Marshall.

Marshall, along the river that empties into the ocean. The fishing boats that catch
most the fish in the Monrovia area.

Doe Farm District Elders
A group we visited in Totota with the Kakata Elders, about an hour past Kakata. Not organized but they are wanting an official "group" that will hopefully become a branch.

A temple trip group we helped transport to the airport. On their way to the Accra temple for the first time!
Kakata Elders
Elder Becker, Elder Titi (from Congo), us, Elder Udo (from Nigeria), Elder Eguko (from Nigeria).
